Neptis hylas papaja: Common Sailor

The most common of the Sailors or Gliders [describes its style of flight, short burst of wing beats followed by a gliding action]. It has the most orange of underside wings coloration of all the members of the genus. It wingspan is 40 – 50mm.

Neptis hylas is a species of nymphalid butterfly found in South Asia and Southeast Asia.
