Heliconius heurippa is a butterfly of the genus Heliconius that is believed by some scientists to be a separate species from—but a hybrid of—the species Heliconius cydno and Heliconius melpomene. Heliconius heurippa is found on the eastern slopes of the Andes Mountains in Colombia.

Heliconius ismenius telchinia: Tiger-stripped Long-wing butterfly

The Ismenius Tiger or Tiger Heliconian [Heliconius ismenius] is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family found in Central America and northern South America. They are highly populous as south as Ecuador and Venezuela and as north as southern Mexico, Guatemala and Belize.

The Heliconius ismenius are more commonly called the tiger-striped long wing butterfly, derived from its long butterfly wing structure as well as the beautiful burnt orange and black stripes, which resemble the stripes of a tiger coat.

Heliconius sara: Sara Longwing butterfly

The Sara Longwing [Heliconius sara] is a species of neotropical heliconiid butterfly found from Mexico to the AmazonBasin and southern Brazil. It is a colourful species: the dorsal wing surface is black with a large medial patch of metallic blue that is framed by two bands of white on the forewings.

The ventral wing surface is a dull brown to black with muted bands and small red spots on the proximal margin; total wingspan is 55–60 mm.

Heliconius erato: Red Postman butterfly

The Red Postman [Heliconius erato] is one of about 40 Neotropical species of butterfly belonging to the genus Heliconius. It is also commonly known as the Small Postman, the Red Passion Flower Butterfly, or the Crimson-patched Longwing.

Heliconius erato is up to about 5.5–8 cm [2.2–3.1 in] n wingspan with jerky flight.
